Tradition Golf Club, designed by Ron Garl, first began accepting players in 1995 and has since made its way to the top of the list of preferred favorites in the Myrtle Beach area. This course is truly a gem among gems, cleverly hidden amid the high traffic tourist area of the Grand Strand in order to create a sense of privacy and relaxation so that players can enjoy the game rather than the annoying distractions of too many manmade structures. When Garl designed Tradition Golf Club, he did so with a love for the Lowcountry feel. The course provides the most outstanding conditions and some of the most renowned facilities in the area. At just under 6,900 yards from the back championship tees, the course carries several water hazards and one of the longest par-4s at the 7th hole. A collection of spectacular par-3s keep players challenged, especially at the 15th hole where water and elevation inspire the need for accuracy and creativity in order to approach the green. Several bunkers and water hazards will please the most skilled players while multi-levels sets of tees make room for beginner and average players. Tradition Golf Club is so renowned that it draws in quite the impeccable crowd to Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Just a short drive outside of Myrtle Beach, this course is the perfect location for tourists coming and going. Locals also enjoy taking a day out of their busy schedules to make time to play a fun and exciting round at Tradition Golf Club.
